AyRecovery is a system back-up and restore tool for Windows. The application can take snapshots of your system and then restore it at any time. According to the developers, snapshots are taken in roughly 5 seconds and you can restore your whole system in 20 seconds. I think that is impressive, but probably not true.
When you install AyRecovery, it reboots your system and it installs its files before the operating system boots-up. This is done so that all files can be accessible for future snapshots and other applications do the same thing. In my case, the installation process hangs at 33% and it stays there for a long time. I had to reboot the computer because it seemed like it had frozen and all over again, the installation froze at 33%. For an application that can restore the whole system in 10 seconds, I find it hard to believe that the installation would take more than 20 minutes. After a while, I discovered that the installation didn't quite freeze, it was just utterly slow.
After installation, the application seems to be working fine, although I can't say I experienced the snapshot and restore times advertised on the website. The few test snapshots and restores that I tried seemed to work alright. However, I can't say whether AyRecovery will miraculously revive your system after a crash.
